Anyone can learn to draw, and just like learning anything else, it takes a bit of effort. Learning to draw is not so much about hand-eye coordination, but more about seeing accurately. In this class you will learn the importance of slowing down and really looking. Drawing is a rewarding, learned skill that continues to be valuable throughout life.
Beginning Oil Painting Class: Finding Your Voice
Wednesdays, January 13, 20, 27, Feb 3 • 6:00-8:00
$70 for 4 weeks
Instructor: Rainy Day Worzella
This class is all about getting acquainted with the medium of oil painting. Learn how to mix colors, experiment with color texture, transparency and more, using a visual rather than literal thought process. A cooperative environment will allow for classmates of differing styles and levels to learn from both their own efforts as well as others. See supply list here.
Pottery Cup Exchange
Tuesday January 19th, 6:30-8:30pm. 6 weeks
Instructor: Kristin Landowski
$105 for six classes
Materials: $25 for 25 lb clay, $15 clay tool kit (comes with apron)
The cup exchange is a very special class where we will spend the time working on making a set of cups that all look the same. Upon the end of the class, we will exchange our wonderful cups with each person in the class. In this class we will depart with a unique set of cups along with a wonderful story behind each cup.

For intermediate watercolorist, here’s a chance to explore your own personal style. Your supportive instructor will help you to set your own artistic goals, and suggest ways to get you there. Includes some how-to technical demos as needed, but mostly lots of individual painting time. A big bonus of this class is the sharing, friendly critique, and camaraderie of others on the creative path. A great way to expand your skills in your own individual way.
