Sign up for the next quarter
January 12 - March 30, 2010
The Young Artist’s Society is an in-depth art education program designed to help young artists develop the skills needed to excel in visual arts.
Students have an opportunity to interact with other young artists and create works of art in many different media such as clay, painting, drawing, collage, print making, and other visual art disciplines.
The Young Artists will also learn about the process of being a visual artist. They will learn to come up with concepts and execute their ideas to form finished works of art. Students will have fun as they learn about creating art pieces as well as learn to communicate their vision of their artwork.
Quarterly Reception and Exhibit
At the end of the quarter, students will have an opportunity to participate in an exhibit where they will display their work. Students will learn what it takes to put a show together and present their artwork in a professional manner. This is a great way for them to see the business side of art making.
